Come Clean and You Will Win

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:9 NIV

Christian's bar of soap. That is how Christians call this verse, 1 John 1:9. It descibes that the Lord is faithful and just in forgiving us our sins, if we confess it. As I was reading through the verse, it reminded me of these things: humility and acceptance of mistakes.

Actually, at work there are way more problems than in my personal life. I am still in the process of learning the processes that's why there are more failures than successes. However, I couldn't accept the fact that I'm failing.

Earlier this day, I decided to step up and apologize to my boss for everything, and cried. It was such a relief for me to release how I really felt, and humble myself before my boss. After the feeling of relief, came inspiration, that these failures are my stepping stones to success.

It is the same with confessing our sins to the Lord. If we humble ourselves, the Lord will purify us and not only that, he will help us succeed, because he removed the heavy baggage that prevents us from going up and moving forward.

The Word of the Lord is so powerful and full of life. Even if you read the same verse everyday, there is always a new revelation by the Lord.

Thank You Jesus for the gift of wisdom.
