Taken, Not Forsaken

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Hello. Did you know that a few minutes ago, I was forsaken?

I don't need to elaborate because this is a sensitive issue. But you know what? It hurts a little, just a little, because I know there is nothing impossible with God. Yes it hurts a little, but I feel so good because God promised me He will never leave me nor forsake me! What an amazing Father He is!

All I have to do is to be still, and know He is God. I will wait, because there is something good in store for me.

Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.
