We Can Plan, But He Already Has Begun

In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.

Proverbs 16:9 NIV

I am such an impulsive person. I am actually currently looking into another business venture that I know certainly would not prosper. Why? Because I'm an excessive multi-tasker and I have literally like seven (7) commitments in my life right now. I'm an employee, a mother, a wife, a daughter, a professor, a student, and a servant of God. Because I know myself, I know, just like in the past, I will just invest in materials and not ever lay hands on them again after a few days.

I don't have time! Yet I am still planning, and planning and daydreaming about these things.

You see, I have many plans in my heart, but only the will of the Lord prospers! Each of the seven (7) responsibilities I have in my life right now, I know for sure - are the paths that the Lord has directed me.

He also looks at the intentions of the heart when we pray and plan for something to do. That is why, in order to succeed, we must seek for His guidance and seek righteousness above everything and in everything that we do.

Well, this latest "daydream" of mine? I am not sure if it will go well, or even start, but I thank the Lord for reminding me that He is superior of all things and it is His wisdom that I would seek first, because it is He who establishes our steps.
