Become Refreshed

Truly my soul silently waits for God;
From Him comes my salvation.
He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my [a]defense;
I shall not be greatly moved.
Psalm 62:1-2

It has been almost two years since my first month of pregnancy. A lot has changed since then. My worries began to increase, it doubled when I became a mother (even in pregnancy). I am usually troubled! Though the Lord says do not worry, for worry will not add a single hour in my life, I am still worried! Guess this is something innate in a human being.

However, the Lord has plenty of promises in His Words. Psalm 62 says God is my rock, my salvation, my defense, and I shall not be greatly moved!

I believe it is really essential to read His Words every day, if possible, every hour. We are refreshed by His Words, because we are human beings and we get tired, we get exhausted, and we tend to forget things, even the promises of God we always forget!

As a music minister, I must follow the example of David, singing praises and continuously worshipping God through his talents, and declare that the Lord is his rock and salvation.

Dear Lord, my God, my Savior, You are so great oh God, I worship You, glorify Your Holy Name! Thank you for your promises as described in Your Words, I ask for forgiveness because I am always troubled, I always worry, and I know the reason behind this is by forgetting Your promises which can be freely reminded to me by reading Your Words. Lord, convert my heart in to a heart that yearns for Your presence and Your Words every day, every hour, every minute of my life. Thank You for the gift of peace, thank You for the gift of salvation and eternal life. I praise You, glorify You, In Jesus' Name, Amen.
