Move!
v 22 Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
v 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
v 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
v 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Hebrews 10:22-25 NIV
God gave us the gift of mobility - the ability to move. With this, we can do things, we can go places, we can explore His wonderful creation.
In Hebrews 10:22-25, I came across words or phrases related to mobility:
v 22: "draw near" to God. In this life we have, we must keep walking towards God. But remember, when we do this, we must be worthy, we must carry sincerity and true faith and be cleansed by His grace.
v 23: "hold unswervingly." When we draw near to God, we must focus on the straight path of faith.
v 24: "spur" one another. We all know that a personal relationship with God is the most important, but we must use it to push and encourage others to also draw near and hold unswervingly. It is one of our responsibilities as Christians. We are not only accountable to ourselves, but to others, too.
v 25: "not giving up meeting" together. By this, we get up on our feet and go, meet with one another because we need each other to spur one another to draw near and hold unswervingly to God. Though we are in a lockdown, modern technology is there in order for us to still do these things and keep in touch.
Praises, Glory, Honor to our Father in heaven!
