The Most Amazing of All

He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;  indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

Psalms 121:3‭-‬4 NIV

I am a mother of a 15-month old toddler. Eversince I held her in my arms, I pledged to do everything to protect her. As she grows up, I guide her in everything she does. I make sure she is well fed, well protected from even a single ant or mosquito bite. Though my abilities are limited, I always make sure of her protection and welfare.

I am amazed of what motherhood has made me become, from a careless youth to a brave warrior. However, as I have said earlier, my abilities are limited, unlike our Lord, whose powers are limitless.

Our Lord is the most amazing of all. He is simply the best no one could surpass everything He does. Psalms 121 describes how He protects us. Imagine, He will not let our foot slip (v3) and He will neither slumber nor sleep (v4)? This means He will not let any harm get in our way! I am sure, my ways of protection for my child is nothing compared to what He can do. 

We have to trust the Lord always, acknowledge His presence, always have our eyes focused on Him (v1) and make Him our constant help at all times (v2).
