We May Not See Him But He is Always Working

Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen.
Psalms 77:19‭ NIV

Psalms 77 is a perfect description and differentiation of what man is and who God is.

Verses 1 to 9 describes how man thinks about God.  Of course man knows that God is our refuge, our safe place, our provider, our Father, our Savior, and the list continues. We cry out to God when we need help. Just like in these trying times we have. Almost all of our fb friends nowadays try to reach out to God - to heal our land and erase the virus away. Everybody became religious suddenly. However, when will man be satisfied? Man wants God to say "yes" to all our prayers, as if God is like a genie. Man complains if he did not get what he prayed for.

But our Lord God is not like that. Our human understanding is very very far from God's wisdom. God moves even if we don't feel it (v10-19). God is a miracle worker, His deeds are mighty, His presence cannot be seen and it is beyond our human imagination. Just like how the earth rotates, we do not feel it but we realize that time is moving, the sun rises in the morning and sets in the afternoon.

I believe it takes a long time before we realize how God works in our lives. Most people would think that God is some genie or a knight in shining armor who will prevent bad things from happening to our lives. But this is not always the situation. It takes full trust in the Lord before we realize and feel that He works 24/7 and though we experience bad things, He always has a plan for the good of those who love Him, which was said in Romans 8:28.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 NIV

I praise You and glorify Your Holy Name, our Lord Jesus Christ!
